Private Residence
Following plans drawn up by Mona Taubensee from Taubensee Interior Design Ltd, we installed 16"x16" Jak Multi slate with beautiful hardwood in the front entrance of this beautiful West Vancouver home. We then took the same slate in a 12"x12" for the kitchen backsplash and added in ubatuba granite accent squares which matched the gorgeous ubatuba granite countertops. We also used the same slate, around the fireplace as well as the powder room which tied everything very nicely together.
Gin Residence
Our first challenge was to update this decades old brick fireplace by replacing it with a beautiful, neutral coloured, 100% quartzite wall cladding. By doing this, it lightened this corner of the room. For the rest of the living room, we tiled the floor with 18" x 18" desert flower honed travertine. The combination of the floor and fireplace leaves this room feeling light and airy - exactly what the client wanted.

Wooooow! These are one of our favorite clients as well as one of our favorite renos. This reno was just as big and amazing as our clients personalities. They wanted the wow factor and they sure got it. We started off with a large beautiful smokey grey travertine all throughout the kitchen and hallway areas. We then inserted marble mosaic cascade grey stone as a feature in the hallways and kitchen. Marble mosaic stix dressed the kitchen backsplash and walls with exceptional granite countertops on their new kitchen cabinets. Cascade grey marble stone was repeatedly installed around the hearth of their living room fireplace which definitely gave it a bold and interesting look. Gorgeous onyx squares and travertine tile and mouldings were added to both bathrooms and the affect is a beautiful pairing. We loved everything about this reno.

Panorama Residence
A very unique kitchen... Here's a kitchen that initially posed a few designing dilemmas. After changing the layout which added much needed counter space, we were left with trying to find materials that matched the original black stained oak cabinets and new brazilian green slate slab countertops. We then decided to add matching brazilian slate floors in a brick pattern that paired beautifully with the honed slate countertops. The backsplash needed a little pizzaz, so we decided to use a beautiful cranberry copper glass mosaic and paired it with phenomenal handmade iridecent glass tiles.
Knight Residence
This family bath has been nicely transformed. Out with the generic white tile on the floor and shower surround. In with gorgeous grey Mirage limestone and exotic sliced Terra Jade pebble, bordered with tumbled mosaic marble sticks. Adding a new vanity with granite countertop makes a beautiful improvement we must say.

Wow, what a huge difference this reno made. The owners originally started out with outdated green carpets. We ripped them out and installed peacock slate in an off-set pattern throughout the living room and dining area. They also slated their fireplace with a sea green slate, accented with peacock slate on the edges. By doing this, it pulled all areas together, added warmth to the room and made the space appear larger.

The owner of this amazing home has a dramatic flare for home design. A huge fan of natural stone, our client, Rilla was not afraid of trying new things and using bold colour. She has totally transformed her home into a one of a kind show piece... wow!
Mickey Residence
Here we are in Rilla's mud room. It's a beautiful mud room we might add. She chose a multi mix beige and grey mini pebble mosaic for the walls. Along with that, she chose chipped edge brazilian brushed grey slate with terracotta grout. The result is surprisingly a great blend. Rilla loves her vibrant colours... and her mudroom.

Knight Residence
One of our favorite customers. The Knights wanted a more luxurious master bath, so that's what we set out to do. On top of the radiant floor heating, they decided on a textured limestone which makes a perfect anti-slip surface. For the shower, we recommended the same vanilla limestone, but this time we went with a flat, honed material. This absolutely smooth surface makes cleaning a snap. We decided to add a stunning Oceanside glass mosaic border to give some pop to the overall look of the bathroom. The Knights added in an amazing claw foot tub, and lovely heated towel rack (the Mrs. has such lovely taste). All of this, along with a beautiful granite vanity countertop, results in an amazing bathroom and happy customers...yay!

Kabush Residence
Yes, we also carry high quality faucets, soap dispensers and undermount sinks - a great compliment for new granite countertops. Our customers just needed a little lift for their kitchen and the results turned out tremendously well. The new Baltic Brown granite countertop brought warmth into this light kitchen. The light colors and beige undertones of the Moroccan Onyx Squares complimented both the existing white cabinets and the new countertop.
Huckvale Residence
When the Huckvales decided to totally renovate their bathroom, they decided on our peacock slate with desert rose stone border accents. The warm rose and violet tones of the slate and stone border work beautifully together. Their renovations professional, Kirk Szteina did a great job, taking great care of the planning and details. The Huckvales also decided on a beautiful baltic brown granite countertop. Photos are courtesy of White Knight Renovations.

Private Residence
There was once this tiny, dark, aubergine, powder room. It was severely outdated, but now has been transformed into a bright, classically, timeless room. We started by replacing the old hardwood with a tumbled Italian Ancient Noce Travertine. We applied the same travertine to the wall, but this time, we changed the wall tile size to a smaller 6"x 6" tile. We then added a simple border with a matching travertine moulding to nicely finish off the edge. The amazing Brazilian granite, adds a fabulous final touch to this tiny little bathroom. Who says incredibly tiny can't be amazingly fabulous?

Cornwall Residence
This was a total home renovation. The kitchen and bathroom was completely stripped down to the studs. The shower bathroom tile was replaced with 4"x 16" cappucinno travertine with matching stone mouldings completed with interlocking pebble strip down the center. After the kitchen cabinets were installed, we topped it off with a nice light kashmir white granite and paired it with beautiful white marble backsplash. We made the fireplace pop against the dark beautiful maple floors by using a gorgeous quartzite ledgestone. All of this, including an amazing view of English Bay.
Amichi Showroom
Our old friend Steve at Amichi offers an amazing choice of quality cabinets, so it was natural that we pair our stone with his cabinets. Our backsplashes and countertops always offer a nice finish to Amichi showroom kitchens. Visit Amichi Kitchens at 903 Expo Blvd., in Vancouver, BC.
Innes Residence
Our client decided to keep his original kitchen cabinets and update everything else. He chose a beautiful slate floor with a travertine subway tile for the back splash. To finish it off, we installed a beautiful light giallo ornamental granite countertop.
Karim Residence
Now this is a one of a kind fireplace! This client wanted something very unique to showcase their living room so we came up with this amazing combination. We installed beige pebble on the hearth along and around the fireplace opening, with white marble sticks on the fireplace pillars. Inbetween the pillars we used a flat, south beach, sliced pebble. Very custom that's for sure.
Chris Residence
Another day... another beautiful fireplace. Fireplaces are such a huge focal point to any room. It was a shame that it was once hidden behind a basic, boring, fireplace mantle before the renovation. By taking the old mantle and legs off and replacing it with 1/2 a wall of stone cladding, really made this feature wall pop. The new stone wall, made the old fireplace command attention in this formal living room.
George Residence
Wanting to spruce up his backyard for the summer, George and his wife opted to cover his existing, older brick wall with a sleek, slate ledgestone with 1" thick slate caps for his backyard wall. We used a dark london fog ledgestone along with a multibrown cap to top it off and darkened the color and protected it with an Aquamix Stone Enhancer. George also wanted to update his kitchen by adding beautiful Kashmir White granite countertop with a complimentary stone square backsplash.
George Residence: front yard
To replace the brick wall that was falling apart, the owner's decided that they wanted a multi-brown natural slate ledgestone look. This installation seriously updated the front of the house, adding to it's curb appeal. No more brocken red bricks!
Private Residence
Beige doesn't have to be boring. This basement bathroom used to be a dark and dingy storeroom; however, we have since transformed it into a freshly updated bathroom. We used a crema beige brushed travertine for the floors and the walls, but to make it more interesting, we also incorporated a more interesting honed beach sand slate tile for the feature areas on the floor and shower wall. We also used mosaic beach sand slate squares for the shower floor as well as the countertop. Looking good!
Rossner Residence
The combination of this London Fog Slate ledgestone and small interlocking pebble tile made a very nice custom look which was the centerpiece of this living room. Definitely not something that you'd find at your everyday neighbourhood tile store.
Private Residence
Here is one of our latest bathroom projects. We warmed up the floor with nu-heat flooring system. We then tiled it with gorgeous 18" x 18" Turkish Travertine and then up the walls in a brick pattern with the same 9" x 18" tiles. The colours and movement in the travertine, definitely brings out the unique qualities in each and every tile. Adding beautiful mouldings and mosaics to the borders adds interest to the walls. In the base of the shower, and shower walls, the emperador dark mosaic border with 5/8 travertine adds a little pop of rich dark colour in order to break up the monotony of neutral tones. More pictures coming soon.

Blishen Residence
What to do with a tired unuseable bathroom? Rip out and renovate everything. This is exactly what the Blishens did. Both their shower and tub were leaking so we removed both of them and gave them a larger, more luxurious shower area. We used our amazing sliced black pebble for the shower floor, jak slate for the shower walls and beautiful oceanside pewter glass mosaic feature to give the bathroom an ultimate high-end look. We topped their new vanity with giallo ornamental granite, installed the jak slate on the bathroom floor and walls. Presto, change-o! Gorgeous new bathroom.
